Adventures in Learning with Shepherd’s Center Charlotte

As we embark on this new year, we wanted to remind you of the upcoming Adventures in Learning (AIL) program, scheduled to kick off on Monday, January 8th, at 10:00 am in Broach Hall. AIL is a fantastic lifelong learning initiative designed to provide older adults with opportunities to continue their journey of discovery, growth, and friendship.

Here’s a glimpse of the exciting sessions we have lined up for the upcoming quarter:

Morning Sessions (11:00 am – 11:50 am):

• Pencil Drawing
• America’s First Ladies
• Woodcraft Wonders
• The Great Artists of the Italian Renaissance

Afternoon Sessions (1:00 pm – 1:50 pm):

• Movement is Life
• Florence: Epicenter of the Renaissance
• Current Events
• Photo Management

These diverse and enriching sessions will be led by our dedicated volunteer class instructors who bring their unique interests and expertise to make the learning experience both enjoyable and rewarding.
