Our Ministries

At St. John’s, there is a place for everyone to get involved. From our youngest of children to our more seasoned adults, you can find your place.

Life At St. Johns

Our programs seek to facilitate individuals from age 18 to age 108 in their efforts to learn more about the Bible, about the intersection of our faith and our lives, and about our call to do work in the world. We offer a wide range of church ministries each Sunday and throughout the year — through our Sunday School and Weekday School ministries, children and youth programs, senior events and men’s and women’s activities.

Children's Ministry

At St. John’s, we believe children have rich spiritual lives, and we are called to help nurture this growing relationship with God. Our ministries for children include weekly Sunday School, annual summer Vacation Bible School, worship education, field trips and other opportunities for fellowship and service.

Youth Ministry

At SJBC Youth, regardless of where you stand on your spiritual path, you’ll find a welcoming environment to embrace your true self and explore your questions. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive community characterized by love, compassion, and a shared commitment to positive change. This embodies the essence of following Jesus.

Adult Ministry

Weekly Adult Sunday School classes span a wide variety of topics and styles, with expanded opportunities for fellowship and spiritual education throughout each week with our Women’sMen’s and Seniors ministries.

Weekday School

The St. John’s Baptist Church Weekday School seeks to convey God’s love to children by providing safe and fun learning opportunities which are created by caring adults who celebrate children as God’s good gifts. Classes available for infants through TK.

Music Ministry

St. John’s has a long and proud history of music education. Gifts of music are an integral part of our worship and church life, with choir and handbell choir opportunities for children, youth and adults.
